is the Desktop of Smart Dentist.
Here the user will get the
information about patient
overview, appointment overview
and business overview |

Patient |
The
Patient screen enables the
user, to add Patient Information.
Once the patient is created,
he/she will be assigned a
unique number. This number
is editable which is facilitated
for adding old patient records. |

The
user can view, navigate, sort
and find patient from the
patient list. The user can
also view the Treatment history
and prescription history of
a current patient. |

The
user can add or capture image
of a patient using web cam
and there is an option to
add “other illness”
and “allergy”
of a patient from the pre
defined list. This illness
or allergy list will be displayed
in Treatment performed screen.
So the user can easily get
the illness or allergy details
of a particular patient. |

Staff |
The
Staff Module displays information
regarding the staff employed
in an organization. The Smart
Dentist has set two levels
of user’s namely super
admin and admin. The super
admin has full access to staff
information and has the authority
to make changes and delete
records at his/her will. |

| The various designations
available to the admin by default
are |

| Receptionist |
In
case the super admin wants
to add more designations he/she
can do that by selecting designation
option from the Look up menu |

Treatment |
The
patient treatment module is
the module, which the doctor
could use invariably to enter
details about the possible
treatment that the doctor,
could carry out for the teeth/tooth
of the patient that has problems.
This module will show the
name of the doctor who would
be attending the patient |

This
module also allows the user
to choose between the teeth
based on the patient’s
age (Major or Minor) depending
on whether the treatment is
for teeth related illness.
If the treatment is not for
a teeth related illness, then
the user will not be able
to choose any teeth from the
list. After selecting an appropriate
treatment, the user will have
to click on the save button.
This will display the total
amount. |

Here is an
option to add tooth image.
So that, the user can add
troubled tooth image.

will show the list of troubles
for a particular tooth is. |

| The user is allowed
to add bill details as well

Scheduler |
Scheduler
in the Smart Dentist software
is a utility that will allow
the user to schedule appointments
based on the availability
of staff and the clinic. The
scheduler allows the user
to create a schedule for appointments. |

The
scheduler consists of a table
with name of the doctors along
the columns and time slot
along the rows. The current
working hours can be set by
the user. The user can right
click on the cell having appropriate
doctors name with the desired
timing to add/edit/delete
or go to a particular patient |

The
user can see that each time
slot is divided into 2 sub
slots. Each sub slot is valued
as 30 minutes. This enables
the user to create appointments
for each quarter of an hour
based on the availability
of the staff. The user can
set it starting from 5 minutes
to 60 minutes. |

Setup |
Clinic
setup option is for setting
Smart Dentist. Using this
option, the user can set Clinic
Name, address and logo. This
detail will be shown up in
the report formats |

number format, tooth notation
format etc |

Image
Gallery |
Image
gallery is intended for using
the image feature of the Smart
Dentist |
| |
Image
gallery is separated by two-sections,
Treatment image and other
images. In the Treatment image
section, treatment related
images like pre treatment,
during treatment, after treatment
images and X ray images are
stored. Other image section
is to store any type of images,
video etc |

The
user can add or capture images
using intra oral cameras.
The user can also open the
image in the default viewer
by double clicking in the
image |

Income |
The
Income form is to enter and
print the billing details
for a particular patient regarding
the treatment. |

| When the user
selects a patient to pay bill,
then the user can see the income
generated from that patient.
The user can also see the treatment
that the patient had undergone.
As the user goes down the screen,
he/she can see a place where
it shows the list of amounts
paid by the selected patient
previously. |

| The user can
accept payment by cash, cheque
or others. |
| |

Report |
The
vendor Module shows the information
regarding the vendors of the
clinic. Medicine Suppliers,
Laboratory, Medical Representative
etc come under vendors. |

| Based
on different type of vendors,
the user can create vendor type
to categories Vendors. |

Search |
| This Module
enables the user to search for a particular
record from the list of available
records. Each and every module in
Smart Dentist has been search enabled. |

Advice Treatment
|
This
option enables the user to
advice a treatment that a
patient needs to undergo.
The user can collect some
information from the patient,
regarding his/her illness.
The treatment advice may vary
based on that. |

Image
Gallery helps the user to
store images pertaining to
the treatment advised. |

The
user can enter past and present
medical history, relevant
family history, investigation
and provisional diagnosis
of a patient. |

The
treatment plan gives an estimate
about the treatment for the
patient, which enables him/her
to decide on that. He/She
can later opt for an appointment
wherein this advised treatment
can be converted to treatment. |

Reference |
If
a patient is relocating, the
user can provide a reference
document, which has the entire
treatment history of the patient.
This reference document comes
in very handy when the patient
contacts another clinic for
treatment |

Tooth Info
|
| This
option is to set some information
about teeth. |
| |
Here
the user can set Missing teeth,
add original tooth image and
give legends. Legend is for
displaying what are the troubles
for a tooth. It will display
in different color. Each color
represents a particular trouble
of a tooth. |

|
Prescription |
This
section is intended to give
the user a brief idea about
the Prescription that the
patient will be given. |

The
user can set a list of prescriptions
under a prescription code.
When the user needs this list
then he can easily get it
by selecting the prescription
code. |

Add Appointment |
Appointments
are fixed meetings of a doctor
with a patient. Smart Dentist
enables the user to add/edit/delete
an appointment. The user can
also set reminders for the
appointments. While adding
the appointment, the user
can add the procedure to be
done, if any. |

Waiting
List |
Waiting
list is the list of patients
who are waiting to see the
doctor(s). We can add, edit
and delete appointments using
the waiting list as well. |

Expense |
The
expense form is to enter expense
details of the clinic. There
are mainly two types of expense,
Salary and Others. The expense
type is a flexible list and
the user can add on more to
it. |

(summary) paid by the clinic

Stock Inwards
|
Stock
Inwards: The user can enter
Inwards details of a particular
order by using this screen.
Under one order he can enter
more than one item. |

When a transaction has been
completed the user can enter
the transaction details using
this screen |

Document
Management |
This
module enables the user to
save some information about
his/her patient for further
reference at a later stage.
The user can click on the
patient document link from
the patient screen. The document
form is used to keep a note
about the patients who visit
the doctor, in an organized
manner. This form allows the
user to create separate folders
(categories) or text files
(notes) for different patients.
The user can add text files
(notes) to the folders (categories),
type in the comments in the
text file (notes), add attachments
to the file. Thus this module
helps in organizing the information
about the patient for the
easiness of the user. |
